Isma.el nació en Colombia y se crió en Miami desde los 11 años — creciendo en el cruce de dos mundos, llevando consigo los ritmos de su tierra mientras se formaba en una de las ciudades más latinas de Estados Unidos. Con formación clásica y una vida entera empapada de salsa, rancheras, boleros y pop-rock latino, siempre ha cantado, escrito y tocado música.

Esa doble crianza se convirtió en la base de su sonido: Latin-indie pop que bebe del bolero, la bachata, la trova, la cumbia y el folclor latino, filtrado a través de guitarra suave y atmósfera indie-pop — tendiendo puentes entre generaciones y géneros en lugar de elegir entre ellos. Su EP debut, Veraneras, sigue el amor a través del transcurso del verano: la ilusión, la nostalgia, el amor imposible y la reconciliación, sensual y nostálgico como solo puede serlo un verano que se escapó. Estreno verano 2026, con el sencillo principal "La Marea.

Isma.el was born in Colombia and raised in Miami from the age of 11 — growing up at the crossroads of two worlds, carrying the rhythms of home while coming of age in one of the most vibrantly Latin cities in the U.S. Classically trained and steeped in salsa, rancheras, bolero, and Latin pop-rock since childhood, he has always sung, written, and played.

That dual upbringing became the foundation for his sound: Latin-indie pop that draws from bolero, bachata, trova, cumbia, and Latin folk, filtered through mellow guitar and indie-pop atmosphere — bridging generations and genres rather than choosing between them. His debut EP, Veraneras, follows love through the arc of summer: infatuation, longing, doomed romance, and reconciliation, sultry and nostalgic the way only a summer that got away can be.
